Manchester United has finally taken action regarding Cristiano Ronaldo’s comments. However, the Red Devils are reluctant to disclose these actions because they are still waiting for all processes to reach a conclusion.
As is known, Cristiano Ronaldo has made a fuss because he gave a controversial statement in an exclusive interview with Piers Morgan. He said he didn’t respect Erik Ten Hag because the coach didn’t respect him.
Ronaldo also said everyone at Manchester United seemed to want to kick him. He also attacked the club’s owners, the Glazers, as people who didn’t care about football.
Man United are certainly aware of the player’s comments. Therefore, they claim to have taken the right steps. However, they did not want to comment further.
“This morning, Manchester United took steps to respond to Cristiano Ronaldo’s recent interview. We will make no further comment until this process has reached a conclusion,” the club said in a statement on Friday (11/18/2022).
Man United is reportedly considering Ronaldo’s future, after making a scene. The Portugal national team (Timnas) striker was also reported to be leaving Old Trafford in January 2023.
The reason is, Ten Hag is even rumoured to have intended to no longer play the player for the rest of the 2022-2023 season. It also made Ronaldo have to leave and to another club, if he wanted to keep playing.
So far, no club has reportedly been interested in Ronaldo in the 2023 winter transfer market. So where will Ronaldo land if he is really kicked from Man United?
