Mancini’s Arrogance Says Italy Will Have no Difficulty in Eliminating Belgium From Euro 2020

The coach of the Italian National Team, Roberto Mancini, admitted that his team had no difficulties at all when facing Belgium in the Euro 2020 quarter-final match on Saturday (3/7/2021) early in the morning. Because they felt no difficulty, Italy then managed to win 2-1 over Roberto Martinez’s squad.

Mancini’s arrogant remarks regarding Italy had no trouble against Belgium because he felt that he saw Ciro Immobile and his friends not suffer too much when facing the team nicknamed the Red Devils.

Mancini knew from the start that it would not be easy to play against Belgium, but he believed that if the Italian players could play well, they could face any team. Fortunately against Belgium at the Allianz Arena this morning, Mancini saw his players can bring out their best game.

Because of being able to perform optimally, Mancini did not see any difficulty from the Italian players when they met Belgium. In fact, the coach who had handled Manchester City felt that Italy should have won by scoring two more goals.

Regardless of the score, Mancini is still happy. For him, Italy deserved to win because Gli Azzurri were able to play very well.

“In my opinion, we didn’t suffer too much (difficulty) in this match (against Belgium). To beat a team like Belgium, you need great performances from all the players and that’s what we did today,” explained Mancini, launching from the official UEFA website, Saturday (3/7/2021).

“We scored two goals and one day we could have scored more. In my opinion, this victory we deserved, “added the Italian coach.

Next, Italy will face Spain in the semifinals of the 2020 European Cup at Wembley Stadium, London, England on Wednesday 7 July 2021. If you look at Italy’s performance against Belgium, Mancini believes his team can win again.

However, for now Mancini does not want to discuss Spain first. He wants to enjoy the success of Italy, which beat Belgium and qualified for the semifinals of the 2020 European Cup.

“Spain is next, but the more you progress, the more difficult it becomes. Tonight, however, we just want to think about our performance and our win.”
