Marc Marquez, King of MotoGP who Break Rossi Record

Today is somewhat special for the top MotoGP racer, Marc Marquez. The Spaniard is now 26 years old.

Marquez is a special figure in the history of MotoGP. The rider nicknamed The Baby Alien was standing in line with motor racing legends such as Giacomo Agostini, Mick Doohan, and Valentino Rossi.

Marquez has collected eight world titles. Six titles were won at the MotoGP stage, one at the Moto2 event, and the 125 cc class.

Marquez first stole the attention of the public when the 125 cc class champion in 2010. He won 10 series and ended the season with a world title.

The title made Marquez one of the youngest world champions because he was 17 years and 263 days old. Marquez then moved up to the Moto2 class in 2011 and only needed two seasons to win the world title.

Marquez’s first achievement in the MotoGP event took place in 2013 with Repsol Honda. In the inaugural season too, Marquez won the inaugural MotoGP title as well as becoming the youngest world champion.

Marquez managed to overcome the resistance of two of his compatriots, Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa. While Valentino Rossi only ended the season ranked fourth in the drivers’ standings.

After making a surprise appearance in the inaugural season, Marquez could defend the title the following season. The world title was released in 2017 but he paid the failure in full for the next four seasons.

The 26-year-old rider successively won the world championship from 2016 to 2019. The additional four titles fulfilled the dominance of Marquez who collected eight world titles.

Various successes that make Marquez a ‘big enemy’ for Rossi. This is because Marquez’s dominance made several records of The Doctor solved.

Marquez won the first world title to make him superior to Rossi. Marquez won the world championship at the age of 20 while Rossi was only able to do so at the age of 22.

The three world titles that were carved by Marquez in the 2013, 2014 and 2016 seasons are also better than Rossi. The famous wild rider while on the track could win three MotoGP titles when he was 23 years old.

When the 2019 MotoGP champion, Marquez also broke Rossi’s record again. The rider who is identical with number 93 became the world champion for the fifth time at the age of 25 years.

Marquez’s age when he won five titles one year younger when Rossi first made a similar note.

With his age of 26, Marquez still has plenty of time to break many other records. He is only one degree from Rossi and two titles from Agostini in the MotoGP event.
