Official! Everton Appoint Sean Dyche as New Coach

Sean Dyche has been officially announced as the new Everton manager. The English coach also received a contract for two and a half years, alias until the end of June 2025.

“Everton Football Club can confirm the appointment of Sean Dyche as the Club’s new Senior Men’s Team Manager. Dyche has agreed a two-and-a-half year contract until June 2025,” said an Everton statement on its official website, Monday (30/1/2023).

Dyche is also very excited to take on his new duties as the new coach of Everton. The former Burnley coach promised the fans by bringing The Toffees – the nickname of Everton – to rise from adversity.

“It’s an honor to be the manager of Everton. My staff and I are ready and excited to help get this great club back on the right track,” Dyche said.

“I know about the passionate Everton fanbase and how much this club means to them. We are ready to work and ready to give what they want. We want to return the good feelings. We need unity and we need everyone in harmony. It starts with us as staff and players.”

Dyche is sure of that because he thinks Everton have good quality players. He will also make reforms by incorporating his game philosophy in order to carve out sweet results.

“Our goal is to showcase a team that works, fights and wears the jersey with pride. There is quality in this squad. But we have to make them shine. That’s my job and that of my staff,” he said.

“We want to change the shape of this club going forward, overhaul it in our style, but in a way that we can win. That’s the task in front of us – making sure we build, tactically and technically,” Dyche added.

As is known, Dyche entered Everton by replacing the position left by Frank Lampard. The Chelsea legend was forced to leave because he failed to bring The Toffees to a good performance. Currently, the rival from Liverpool is ranked 19th with a collection of 15 points.

Of course this is Dyche’s tough task to get Everton out of the relegation zone. The 51-year-old coach will immediately lead his troops in the match against Arsenal at the Goodison Park Stadium, Saturday (4/2/2023).
