Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has revealed what Jose Mourinho told him before the start of the season to inspire his good form. Luke Shaw has said a chat with Jose Mourinho in pre-season gave him the confidence to make the left-back spot his own. Shaw has started all four of Manchester United’s league games and been called up to the England squad for the upcoming fixtures against Spain and Switzerland. The left back said Mourinho assured him that he wants him to fight for his place, and that is exactly what Shaw has done.
Joining Shaw on England duty is Marcus Rashford, who tweeted yesterday that he is ‘putting in the overtime after training. Rashford was sent off against Burnley on Sunday.
