Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is rumored to have established an agreement with Barcelona. The transfer process is expected to be completed in January 2019.
Bleacher Report reported, Mino Raiola, who acted as Pogba’s agent, had entered into an agreement in principle with the Blaugrana even though Man United insisted it would not sell the star. The rumor that Pogba’s move to Barca had indeed blown before the competition began. The French national team midfielder is interested in playing at the Italian giants following his poor performance with Manchester United last season.
However, Pogba’s slick appearance at the 2018 World Cup with the French national team made Man United reluctant to release the star. Barca who had offered a bid proposal along with two additional players, Andre Gomes and Yerry Mina, were rejected by the Red Devils.
However, the issue of Poga’s departure from Old Trafford was once again strong after the tension between Pogba and manager Jose Mourinho at the start of the season. Raiola even gave a signal that he would soon find a new Pogba club since August. Pogba was said to have wanted to leave Old Trafford in the transfer market last summer, with Barcelona at the forefront to get him, ahead of Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, but the move was not realized.
The tension between them continues. At the end of September, Pogba and Mourinho were involved in a fight in the middle of training and recorded a camera which later became viral.
In the 30-second video, Mourinho and Pogba then looked bicker until they were in the middle of Man United players who were warming up at Carrington.
Mourinho also took off the second captain position on the MU team. Mourinho also confirmed the news after Man United defeated Derby County in a League Cup match on Tuesday (25/9) local time.
Now, Raiola is in intense communication with Barcelona and has reached an initial agreement. However, it is not yet known whether the transfer will occur in January or next summer.
But Pogba’s move to Barcelona was believed to be not going smoothly. Because Manchester United will block the move of the player to Catalunya. MU owner, the Glazer Family is reported to have instructed all MU management to defend Pogba. They even consider Pogba as Lionel Messi’s United figure, so the player will not be sold.
For that Mino Raiola is rumored to have to play his brain hard enough because MU management will not let the player leave.
Pogba himself is still silent about his future speculations, because he could say that he could be punished by the club if he talked about this topic.
