Premier League Clubs Eye on Neymar

Neymar’s future at Paris Saint-Germain is over. Particularly when the president of the club, Mr. Nasser Al-Khelaifi, revealed his statements and the public was informed of the dispute involving Kylian Mbappe.

The Brazilian striker has been at PSG since 2018. He joined Barcelona for 222 million euros. However, Neymar came very close to leaving France, but chose to renew with PSG for a few more good years after facing a great troubled moment at the club.

“We can’t talk about it in public because some players will arrive, some players will leave the club. These are private negotiations,” Khelaifi said.

According to reports, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Newcastle United are interested in Neymar.

Chelsea defender Thiago Silva said he’s pleased to see if Neymar joined the Blues this summer.

“He has to go to Chelsea If he has to leave, he has to go there. The expectation, if it comes to pass, is the best possible.” Silva said.

“Neymar dismisses comments for the quality. And on top of that, he’s a super friend. I hope it comes to realisation and not just in the rumours. But I don’t know anything,” Silva added.

PSG will accept to open talks to sell Neymar. But it is not so simple, as the Ligue 1 Giants will have to pay the Brazilian a big amount for termination of contract.

Neymar has scored 100 goals in 144 appearances for the club but has still not managed to win over the PSG fans and board.

“A possible departure of Neymar this summer? What I can tell you is that we expect all players to do a lot more than last season. A lot more,” Khelaifi said.

“They all have to to be 100%. Obviously, we weren’t good enough to go far. For next season, the objective is clear: to work every day at 200%.

“To give everything we have for this jersey, give the maximum and we will see the result. You have to become humble again. You have to change to avoid injuries, suspensions and fouls that change a game,” he added.
