Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) seems to be moving quickly to take advantage of Lionel Messi’s situation, which has not yet received certainty from Barcelona. In order to tempt the Argentine striker to land at the Parc des Princes Stadium, PSG have reportedly offered Messi a contract.
As reported by Sportsmole, Monday (5/7/2021), PSG have reportedly made a contract offer to Lionel Messi amid uncertainty surrounding his future at Barcelona. Indeed, Barcelona wants to extend the tenure of the winner of the six Ballon d’Or trophies.
The plan, the Blaugrana-Barcelona’s nickname- even wants to give a contract for two more years to Messi. However, Barcelona’s efforts were hampered by financial problems that were hitting the club.
As a result, until now, there has been no official agreement between the two parties. Messi finally now holds a free transfer status because his contract with the Blaugrana expires on June 30, 2021.
