Susie Wolff, the wife of Toto Wolff, Mercedes boss in Formula 1, is reportedly has named nes team principal for the Venturi Formula E team.
With this appointment, Susie takes another step in a career rich in motorsport. After seven seasons in the DTM championship under the colours of Mercedes-Benz and after being a development driver and test driver for the Formula 1 team Williams.
She has successfully created the platform dare to be different. The goal is to inspire younger generations of women’s talent and thus to increase the participation of women at all levels of motor sport.
This upcoming season presents exciting challenges for the team with the introduction of the new Gen2 car and the arrival of former Formula 1 driver Williams Felipe Massa, who will make his Formula E debut on this occasion.
The common goal will be to take the Venturi Formula E team to the top of the rankings and compete with the high-flying rivals who will enter the league this year.
“When I decided to stop as a professional driver in 2015, I knew that I wanted to continue with the challenge of competitive racing, just not behind the wheel,” Susie said.
“You can’t just switch off your competitive instincts when you stop driving and that determination and desire to achieve still burn brightly inside me. I took time to carefully decide the right direction for that challenge and I have now found the perfect next step.

The new manager of the team is working today with the team to prepare the season 5 of the ABB Formula E championship which will start on December 15, 2018 in Saudi Arabia.
