Wolves Bend Manchester City 3-2 in the Premier League Boxing Day

Manchester City narrowly lost 2-3 to Woverhampton Wanderers in Week 19 of the English League this season. Josep Gurdiola’s squad failed to bring home the points from the home team.

In the first half, Man City goalkeeper Ederson Moraes got a red card for violate a Wolves attacker on 12 minutes. Guardiola then put Claudio Bravo to fill the position of goalkeeper and pulled out Sergio Aguero.

Having more player, Wolves tries to began a consecutive attack on the goal of Manchester City. But instead City have the first chance to score.

Luck began to side with Man City after Riyad Mahres was dropped in the penalty box. Raheem Sterling acted as the executor, but failed to score.

However, the penalty was repeated because the referee judged Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio to move first. In the second penalty, Sterling scored the first goal of the match.

Man City beat the first round with a score of 1-0 over Wolves.

Manchester City replaced the player where Riyad Mahrez was replaced by Eric Garcia in the second half.

Wolves opened up opportunities in the 47th minute. Getting a breakthrough bait from Diego Jota, Raul Jimenez tries to score the ball but still soar.

Manchester City tried to match the score through Sterling’s free kick in injury times but soared. Until the match ended, Manchester City lost 2-3 to Wolves.

Wolves beat Man City with a narrow 3-2 victory until the final whistle. These results bring Manchester City stuck in third place in the Premier League standings with 38 points.
