Manchester United defender Raphael Varane welcomes the 2023-2024 Premier League with great enthusiasm. The former Real Madrid asked the Manchester United squad to maintain consistency ahead of the 2023-2024 Premier League.
Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United have experienced a lot of development. This is evidenced by a number of increasing achievements. Among the achievements that have been obtained is winning the 2022-2023 English League Cup.
Apart from that, Manchester United also managed to secure third place in the 2022-2024 Premier League standings. That means Raphael Varane and colleagues will have a more busy schedule because they also have to play in the Champions League.
Therefore, Raphael Varane asked Manchester United to maintain consistency in play and fitness. The French passport player said the Red Devils had prepared the things needed to compete.
“We have to be 100 percent fit for the season. We’ve worked out the details. Tactically, we want to be ready. We want to work as a team, as a squad,” said Varane as quoted from the official Manchester United website, Saturday (5/8/2023).
“We have to be more consistent this season. We have to repeat a good performance every three days. So there are a lot of details,” he continued.
Just so you know, Manchester United have not been consistent in the four matches of the 2023-2024 pre-season. In these four matches, the Red Devils had to settle for two wins and two defeats. Unsurprisingly, Varane wants his team to be more consistent. Moreover, the challenges in the 2023-2024 season for Manchester United will increase.
“We’re working on it and hopefully we can do better this season and we want to improve all the time. So it is always a challenge for us to be better, “concluded Varane.
