Bayern Munich started the Bundesliga this season with a landslide 8-0 win over Schalke.
Bayern showed their slick abilities were not interrupted by the short break they could finish winning the Champions League. Schalke immediately became the first victim of the violence of Munich.
Munich already scored a goal through Serge Gnabry when the game had only been running for four minutes. Joshua Kimmich’s long ball was met by Gnabry’s hard kick.
Munich’s second goal then came in the 19th minute. Thomas Mueller’s ball was greeted by Leon Goeretzka’s horizontal shot into the lower right corner of Schalke’s goal.

Bayern goal feast continued in the 69th minute. This time it was Thomas Mueller who scored after using an acrobatic pass from Lewandowski.
Two minutes later, it was Leroy Sane’s turn to put his name on the scoreboard. Sane counterattacked after receiving Kimmich’s through ball. Running from the middle of the field, Sane effortlessly broke into Faehrmann’s goal in a one-on-one duel.
This great advantage made Bayern coach Hansi Flick give the opportunity to appear as a substitute for a number of young players, namely Michael Cuisance, Chris Richards, Jamal Musiala and Joshua Zirkzee. Of the three players, Musiala was able to score Bayern’s closing goal when he converted Lewandowski’s pass.
The Munich massacre against Schalke was closed by Jamal Musiala’s goal in the 81st minute. Musiala successfully fired hard shots despite being blocked by several Schalke players.
