Manchester United has ruled out the return of fan favourite Cristiano Ronaldo

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has ruled out Saturday that former his man Cristinao Ronaldo could join this summer the English Premier League where he played from 2003 to 2009.

Speaking after their pre-season friendly with American MLS clubs Los Angles Galaxy in Carson, California. The Portuguese manager referred to Real Madrid striker as “mission impossible”.

“We have never thought about it because he is such an important player for his club, of great economic power. We have not been able to find reason that could have made us think that Ronaldo could leave.” Mourinho said to media after beating a 5-2 against LA Galaxy.

“I will not waste my time thinking about players who are of the order of the mission impossible,” former the Blues manager added.

The Portuguese striker had been linked with a move back to Manchester United after a rumour said he wanted to leave Real Madrid following accusations by Spain authorities that he has committed a fraud.

However, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez insisted to keep the world’s best striker to stay at Bernabeu.

“It is a question for Florentino Perez,” Mourinnho said. “Clubs put price tags on players, not the one who wants to buy. He belong s to Real Madrid. The club has decided and we have not come to an agreement. It is simple. It is a shame.

“It is a player who enjoyed it to the first team with me. We have a special liking for him, he is someone special. I enjoyed watching his evolution at Juventus and Madrid. It is like that. I don’t think he can end with us.” he added.
